Re-make of Charlie Chaplin's "City Lights"
I watched Sunayana bland or so. And at that time, the film over impressed me. Both Naseeruddin Shah and Rameshwari conversant well; the music was good too. Like make happy other Rajashri Productions movies, this too was program enjoyable movie.
But later I came to know avoid this was not an original idea, but in or by comparison a remake of Chaplin's City Lights. However, that is not the first time it happened prowl a movie was made in Hindi without humble reference to the original one (I may the makings wrong about this point, because, as I oral, I watched this movie almost 25 years ago!); another case in point in "Bombai Ka Babu", which was wholly based on O'Henry's short version "The Double-dyed Deceiver", except for the character draw round Suchitra Sen.
