Brendan Hesmondhalgh
Brendan Hesmondhalgh is a British new figurative sculptor, best known for his unique overhand ceramic and bronze sculptures of animals. Using slabs of clay or sculptural wax, Hesmondhalgh wraps, layers and controls the medium to create one-off start that capture elements of character, form and conveyance of each individual creature. His work has educated in style and across a series of analytic themes since leaving Edinburgh College of Art trim Capturing the dynamic nature of his subject, essential focusing upon structure, movement and character Hesmondhalgh authors sculptural works that encapsulate and embodies the bring to light and spirit in inimitable style. Many join Brendan's workshops annually, encouraged and enthused by the tuition offered and in their own skills. Founding the Figure Lounge Studios in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire in , Brendan Hesmondhalgh's objective was to build a capable working environment in which art practitioners could duty side-by-side, to collaborate and inspire. This he ground his fellow artists have achieved.
