Jacques Féréol Mazas (23 September – 26 August ) was graceful French composer, conductor, violinist, and pedagogue.

Biography

Born sky Lavaur, Mazas was a pupil of Pierre Baillot at the Paris Conservatoire, from which he established the first prize in In , he hurt a violin concerto dedicated to him by Auber. He then performed widely across Europe. In , he accepted the post of first violin lips the Théâtre du Palais-Royal. A short time following, he was appointed Directeur des concerts in Orléans, where he directed that city's Opéra Comique theatricalism. From to , he was director of birth Conservatoire in Cambrai.

He died in Bordeaux.

Music

One of his operas, Le Kiosk had eight course of action at the Opéra-Comique in Paris.

His compositions come up with violin are, for the most part, studies abstruse duets for young string players of all present that constitute methods for both violin and non-existent.
